1. Card Base=11 ” x 4 ¼ ”
a. Score at 4 ¼” and 5 ½ " on the 11 " side
2. Patterned Paper: 4 " x 5 1/8 " – trim 1 1/8” off for the “binding” part (pay close attention to which side you trim the 1 1/8” so you maintain continuity of the pattern on the paper. The center insert is: 4” x 4”.
3. Trim some ribbon to wrap around the 4 x 1 1/8” piece—you only need about 4 ½” because no one sees the back—use clear plastic tape to secure the edges. Adhere both pieces of patterned paper, then glue the inside “binding” part to your card base.
a. Trim approximately 4” more of ribbon for your tie-on bow. You may want to secure it with a glue dot after tying it on.
b. Add a sentiment, die cut or item(s) of your choice to the 4 x 4” front of the card.
c. Embellish the inside insert and envelope!
