1. Make two cards with one piece of 8 ½” x 11” cardstock.
a. Cut horizontal/landscape cardstock at 5 ½” and score at 4 ¼” or just fold in half or
b. Cut vertical/portrait cardstock at 4 ¼” and score at 5 ½” or just fold in half
2. Both the basic top and inside inserts are the same size: 5 ¼” x 4”
(Hint: Precut a stack of white inserts to save time.)
a. Don’t be afraid to layer! Additional layers typically are ¼” less—but if for example, you choose to use patterned paper for your base layer you may want more of that to be visible, so your next layer may be smaller.
